Plagiarism Check

Plagiarism is not tolerated at Jurnal ISIP: Jurnal Ilmu Sosia dan Ilmu Politik. The similarity index is calculated using the Turnitin plagiarism checker. The editor uses the result to determine whether or not there is a possibility of plagiarism – the similarity report is then sent to the author. The following are some of the Editorial Board's actions:

1. A similarity index of greater than 30%: in this case, the article is rejected due to insufficient paraphrasing or citation, resulting in an outright rejection – NO RESUBMISSION IS ACCEPTED.
2. A similarity index of between 10% and 30%: in this case, the publication is returned to the author for revision and enhancement. The author must provide accurate citations to comparable sources and proper paraphrasing for citations.
3. A similarity index of less than 15%: in this case, acceptance or citation improvements may be necessary – all outsourced texts must be properly cited.
